Baby Emeline

Meet baby Emeline, the precious baby girl #5 to the Mokena family! Older sisters Lupe, Mele, Elenoah and Ma’ata are very proud of the new addition to their family and it was so fun to watch the girls hold and love on their baby sister. I have known their mother, Jessica, since I was about 8 years old and getting to spend the afternoon with her and her girls make me step back and say, “I love my job.”

Thanks for visiting!

[Sopia]

So… things have finally slowed down a bit so I thought I would post some shots of Sophia that I did back in August right after she was born. Sophia is the baby girl of some of our best friends, Brian and Sandi, and I was a pretty proud “aunt” when she was born. Enjoy!

 Thanks for visiting!

[Lewis Family]

Everyone meet the Lewis bunch. A fun family of six from our church that I’ve known for the past five or six years. I get to spend almost every Sunday morning with these adorable kids and it’s been so fun to watch their family grow over the years. Here is Marti, Laura, Michaela, Alec, Kaylee and Liam.

Love the shots of a family just being a family…

Thanks for visiting!

[Minard Family]

Everyone meet the Minard family, Jim, Erin Audrey and Eliza. You might recognize Audrey as the cutie in the photo at the top of this blog which came from their family shoot last year, a couple months before Eliza was born. I also had the opportunity of shooting Eliza’s newborn session last December and she is quickly following in her sister’s footsteps as a cutie in front of the camera. It was a really cold afternoon but the sun peeked out for us and we managed to get some great shots. Enjoy!

First, here are the girls last year…

And here they are now… Cuties!

Thanks for stopping by!

[Ayla & Micah]

These two little ones are easily my most favorite models. Ok… I might be a bit biased, seeing as how they are my niece and nephew but either way, they are so darn adorable! They are getting pretty used to my camera by now and Ayla starts posing without me asking… Micah is even working on that sultry, GQ model look :). This is their first appearance on my blog but will definately not be their last. Enjoy!

Yeah… she loves the camera.

Here they are just being brother and sister…

Thanks for stopping by!

[Bro & Lex]

If you were to ask any one of us in the Daam family what brings us true joy… our answer would easily be these two little ones. What a blessing and constant reminder of God’s love they have been to us over the past few years and we pray for many more to come. Here’s our sweet Brodie and adorable Alexis… Enjoy!

[The Aschleman Family]

What a bittersweet photo session this was… We had such a blast spending the evening with this amazing family yet knowing it will probably be one of the last times we get to hang out for a while made it difficult. They are preparing to move to the east side of the state within the next month so we had to squeeze in a fun family session before they leave. I’ve known Brennan and Ashley since they were dating and here they are married with 3 beautiful kids (Alexis, James and Elijah). What a blessing they have been to our family and church, we will miss them tremendously!

The Adorable Andrea

Let’s go seniors! We all remember how awesome it felt to finally reach senior year in highschool… from senior prom to college applications, we all enjoyed the memories and stressed about future plans. Andrea Deyoung is currently venturing through her senior year at Paw Paw Highschool and is excited for graduation next spring. We had lots of fun shooting at two different locations and here are a few of my favs. Enjoy!

Some Dear Friends of Ours…

Say hello to the Behrens family! Keith and Lynn have become some of Jeff and I’s closest friends over the past few years and their 3 beautiful daughters are so very dear to us: Lily, Addison and Taylor (or as I like to call her “Tator Tot”). Lynn was very worried,  as we prepared for this photo shoot, that the girls wouldn’t cooperate and smile at the camera… but no worries here! I brought along my awesome assistant, Jeff my hubby, and he was amazing at making the girls laugh with his Elmo voice and goofy tricks… I think he even made mom and dad laugh a few times. I’ve always wanted to shoot in a vineyard and when Lynn mentioned she always wanted a family photo in a vineyard, it was settled! We ventured out on a chili Saturday morning to a vineyard in Schoolcraft and came home with some great shots of this fun family. Love you guys! Enjoy!

Aren’t they adorable?
